Spring Electoral College Meeting

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its October 13, 2007  e. v. meeting:

Changes of Mastership:
  • Fr. Cyrus Smith has been appointed Master of Coph Nia Oasis, Eugene, OR.
  • Fr. Crusolion has been appointed Master of Sol Invictus Oasis, Fayetteville, AR.
  • Fr. Nathaniel Shipp has been appointed Master of Hoor Paar Kraat Oasis, Ogden, UT.
  • Fr. S.R.B.A. has been appointed Master of LVX Lodge, Panorama City, CA.

Change of Status:
  • Thelesis Oasis (Philadelphia, PA) has been advanced to Thelesis Lodge. Congratulations!

Upcoming EC Meetings:
  • The Summer Solstitial EC meeting, scheduled for Saturday, July 12th, 2008 e.v., will be hosted by Golden Lotus Oasis (Mission Viejo, CA).

Autumn Electoral College Meeting

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its October 13, 2007  e. v. meeting:

Changes of Mastership:
  • Fr. Christopher Scott was appointed Master of Coph Nia Oasis, Eugene, OR.
  • Fr. A.B.R.A. has been appointed Master of Pyramid Lodge, effective Dec. 10th, 2007 e.v.

Change of Status:
  • Pursuant to the appointment of a new Master, Coph Nia Lodge (Eugene, OR) is now chartered as an Oasis.

Upcoming EC Meetings:
  • The Winter Solstice EC meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 12th, 2008 e.v. and will be held via an online medium.
  • The Spring Equinox EC meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th, 2008 e.v. will be held at LVX Lodge (Studio City, CA).


Summer Solstice Electoral College Meeting

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Summer 2007 e.v. meeting:

Changes of Mastership:
  • Mastership of Blue Horizon Oasis (Glendale, CA) was passed from Fr. Seraphino to Sor. Sophia.

Changes of Status:
  • Bubastis Camp (Dallas, TX) has been rechartered as Bubastis Oasis with Fr. Azael as Master.
  • Vortex Camp (Tacoma, WA) has been rechartered as Vortex Oasis with Sor. Brandy Williams as Master.
New Charter:
  • Warrior Island Camp (Jacksonville, FL) was granted a charter with Sor. Shenhah as Master. Congratulations!
New Camp In Formation Organizer:
  • Fr. Sin Rabe (Hanover, PA) has been granted CIF Organizer status.
The College has agreed that a list of current Camp In Formation Organizers shall be maintained on this website. It can be found here.

Upcoming EC meetings:
  • The Autumn Equinox EC meeting is scheduled for October 13th, 2007 e.v. and will be held at Thelema Lodge (Berkeley, CA) in conjunction with the celebration of their 30th year as a chartered OTO body.
  • The Winter Solstice EC meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 12th, 2008 e.v. and will be held via an online medium.
  • The Spring Equinox EC meeting will be held at LVX Lodge (Studio City, CA); exact date to be determined.

Spring Equinox Electoral College Meeting

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Spring 2007 e.v. meeting:

Closures:
  • Nu Aeon Camp (Land O'Lakes, FL) was closed for cause.
  • Serpentine Splendour Lodge (Las Vegas, NV) was closed at the request of the Master.
Changes of Mastership:
  • Mastership of 418 Lodge (Sacramento, CA) was passed from Fr. David Shoemaker to Fr. Orpheus.
  • Mastership of Star and Snake Camp (Ashland, OR) was passed from Sr. Ashera to Fr. Omnesum.
  • Mastership of Dove and Serpent Oasis (Atlanta, GA) was passed from Fr. John Nance to Fr. Richard Edgerton.
New Charter:
  • AHBH Camp (Las Vegas, NV) was chartered, Sr. Kayla Block as Master. Congratulations!

  • The Summer Solstice EC meeting is scheduled for August 10th, 2007 e.v. and will be held at Knights Templar Oasis (Salem, MA) immediately prior to Notocon.
  • The Autumn Equinox EC meeting is scheduled for October  13th, 2007 e.v. and will be held at Thelema Lodge (Berkeley, CA) in conjunction with the celebration of their 30th year as a chartered OTO body.

  • Mastership of Horizon Oasis (Seattle, WA) was passed from Sr. Onyieh Jewel to Sr. Shellay Maughan.
  • Mastership of Ad Astra Oasis (Denver, CO) was passed from Sr. Ishara to Fr. Solemnus.
The Electoral College would like to thank these past Masters for their service.

Changes of Status:
  • William Blake Oasis (Catonsville, MD) has been re chartered as William Blake Lodge with Kerry Kurowski, aka Sr. Hypatia as Master.
  • Golden Lotus Camp (Mission Viejo, CA) has been re chartered as Golden Lotus Oasis with Sr. Lita-Luise Chappell as Master.
Congratulations to the newly chartered Lodge, and Oasis!

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Fall 2006 e. v. meeting:

Changes of Mastership:

  • Mastership of Mons Abiegnus Oasis (San Francisco, CA) was passed from Edward King to Gregory Peters. In addition, the Oasis has moved from its previous location in San Anselmo.
  • Mastership of Coph Nia Lodge (Eugene, OR) was passed from R. Joseph Schweizer to David M. Chandler.
  • Mastership of Therion-Babalon Oasis (Berkeley, CA) was passed from Chris Grabarkiewctz to Marlene Cornelius.

The Electoral College would like to thank all Past Masters for their service to the Order.

Changes of Status:

  • Abrahadabra Camp (Portland, ME) was chartered as Abrahadabra Oasis with Collin Campbell as master.
  • Aum Ha Camp (Chicago, IL) was chartered as Aum Ha Oasis with Henry Anderson as master. 
  • Sol Invictus Camp (Fayetteville, AR) was chartered as Sol Invictus Oasis with Brandon Williams as master.

Summer Electoral College Meeting

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Summer 2006 e. v. meeting:

Change of Mastership:

  • Fr. Chris Freckleton has been confirmed as Master of Horus Oasis, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Change of Status:

  • LVX Oasis has been advanced to LVX Lodge, Sor. Cindy Weinstein as Master.

New Charter:

  • Theorte Ekstasis Camp (Louisville, KY) was chartered, Sor. Anita Kraft as Master. Congratulations!

The Electoral College is pleased to announce that a Revolutionary has been appointed, pursuant to Liber 194: “The Electoral College possesses one most singular power. Every eleven years, or in the case of a vacancy occurring, they choose two persons from the Ninth Degree, who are charged with the duty of Revolution.” 

In addition, we have decided to add the annual release of annual report summary data to our policies and procedures. (It is now available in the reference section of this website.)

Upcoming EC Meetings:

  • Autumn 2006 meeting is at Serpentine Splendour Lodge, Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, October 14th, 2006 e.v. The deadline for this meeting is September 15th, 2006 e.v.
  • Winter 2006 meeting will be via an online medium.


Spring Electoral College Meeting

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Spring 2006 e. v. meeting:

Changes of Mastership:

  • Fr. D. B. was confirmed as Master of Bubastis Camp (Denton, TX).
  • Sor. Mayet was confirmed as Mistress of 93 Oasis (Los Angeles, CA).

Change of Status:

  • Therion-Babalon Camp was advanced to Therion-Babalon Oasis (Berkeley, CA), Fr. C. G. as Master.

New Charters:

  • Alombrados Camp (New Orleans, LA) was granted a charter, Fr. J. S. as Master. Congratulations!
  • Set Triumphant Camp (Orlando, FL) was granted a charter, Fr. Nemo as Master. Congratulations!

Upcoming EC Meetings:

  • Summer 2006 e.v. meeting scheduled for Saturday, July 22nd at Blue Horizon Oasis, with fraternal assistance from LVX Oasis (Glendale and Los Angeles, CA). The deadline for submission of items for consideration at the Summer meeting is June 15th 2006 e.v.
  • Autumn 2006 e.v. meeting scheduled for Saturday, October 14th at Serpentine Splendour Lodge (Las Vegas, NV).

 


 
The College would like to express it's deep and profound loss at the celebration of the greater feast of Brother Chris Parker.  The College would like to recognize his steadfast dedication and tireless service to ourselves, our Work, the Order, and to the Law which we serve.  He is a brother, a compatriot, and a friend.  We wish him well.

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Winter 2005 e.v. meeting:

Change in Body Name:
  • RPSTOVAL Camp (Ashland, OR) shall be known henceforth as The Star And The Snake Camp.

Changes in Mastership:
  • Fr. S. R. was confirmed as Master of Knights Templar Oasis (Salem, MA).
  • Fr. Seraphino was confirmed as Master of Blue Horizon Oasis (Glendale, CA).
  • Fr. HydraLux was confirmed as Master of Sekhet Maat Lodge (Portland, OR).
The EC would like to thank the Past Masters for all of their hard work.

Closures:
  • Laughing Serpent Camp (Bayonne, NJ) was closed at the request of the Master.
  • Starry Arch Camp (St. Louis, MO) was closed at the request of the Master.

  • Therion-Babalon Encampment was chartered in Berkeley, CA with Fr. C G as Master. Congratulations!

  • Thelesis Camp (Philadelphia, PA) was advanced to Thelesis Oasis, Fr. Howard Wuelfling as Master. Congratulations!
  • 93 Lodge (Costa Mesa, CA) was changed to 93 Oasis at the request of the Master.
Changes of Mastership:
  • Sor. Ashera was confirmed as Master of RPSTOVAL Camp (Ashland, OR).
  • Fr. Lucistias Peripsol was confirmed as Master of Thelema Lodge (Oakland, CA).
  • Sor. Danielle George was confirmed as Master of Hoor Paar Kraat Oasis (Ogden, UT).
  • Fr. LEGIO was confirmed as Master of Horus Oasis (Salt Lake City, UT).
The Electoral College would like to extend its sincere thanks to all past Masters.

The following actions concerning local bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Summer 2005 e.v. meeting:

Closure:
  • Soul of the Desert Oasis (Santa Fe, NM) was closed at the request of the Master.
Change in body status:
Changes of Mastership:
  • Sr. Isha Martin-Hammer was confirmed as the Master of Ad Astra Oasis, Denver, CO.
  • Fr. Leo Vasquez was appointed as Master of Tahuti Lodge, New York, NY.
The Electoral College would like to extend our thanks to Past Masters of these bodies and our congratulations to the new Masters.

The EC also moved to commit to take a general informational poll of the active membership of the US OTO in the next year. We are quite curious about the opinions of the general membership. (In which vein, it is worth mentioning that we are always interested in hearing from you- please contact the Elector of your choice via the Electors Serving page- our doors are always open.)

Next meeting will be held October 22nd at Horizon Oasis in the valley of Seattle, WA. Please contact the Oasis if you plan to attend.

Ophis Nikator Camp (Norfolk, VA) was closed at the request of the Master.  The EC would like to thank the past Master for her hard work.

Xanadu Camp (Reading, PA) was chartered as Xanadu Oasis. Congratulations!

The next meeting will be July 23rd via an online medium. Following that, the EC will meet in October at Horizon Oasis (Seattle, WA).

I would like to invite any initiates with suggestions as to how we can do our job better, or who have specific concerns or questions regarding the operation of the Electoral College, to write to either the President of the College or Secretary at any time. It is my goal as President of the Electoral College to take effective measures bringing about better communication between the E.C. and the membership of all local bodies. Any input provided to this end is warmly welcomed and I believe that communication as such is of benefit to the entire Order in our mutual goals and aspiration toward enlightenment in all forms.

  • Transfer of Mastership of Heru-Behutet Oasis (Kansas City, MO) to Fr. Wes Warlop (Acting Master confirmed as Master) effective 6-27-2004 e.v.

Local Bodies that are interested in hosting meetings of the Electoral College are encouraged to write the President of the College.

The Fall 2004 e.v. E.C. in person Meeting is scheduled for Saturday October 23rd  at Sekhet Bast Ra Lodge (Oklahoma City, OK). Initiates of the Vth Degree or higher (in good standing) are welcome to attend and observe. Please notify the E.C. President in advance.

The deadline for submission of items to be considered (at the October 23rd Meeting) is September 15th, 2004 e.v. Please mail submissions to the E.C. Secretary (address below).

On behalf of the Electoral College I would like to extend our heart felt gratitude to the Sorores et Fratres in the valley of Portland Oregon, particularly the officers and members of Sekhet-Maat Lodge, for their abundant hospitality in hosting our Spring 2004 e.v. meeting.  

The following actions concerning local Bodies were taken by the Electoral College at its Spring 2004 e.v. meeting:


Closures:
  • Serpent in Balance Camp (Lake Mary, FL) has been closed for non compliance with various requirements of local body criteria.
  • Domina Nostra Astrorum Encampment (Lansing, MI) has been closed for non compliance with various requirements of local body criteria.
  • Queen of Heaven Lodge (Portland, OR) has been closed at the request of the Master effectively merging its talent and resources with Sekhet-Maat Lodge (Portland, OR).
Change of Master:
  • Transfer of Mastership of Sekhet-Maat Lodge (Portland, OR) from Fr. Hank Hadeed to Fr. Mick Taylor effective April 25th, 2004 e.v.
  • Transfer of Mastership of Thelema Lodge (Oakland, CA) from Fr. John Brunie to Fr. Michael Sanborn effective April 18th, 2004 e.v
  • Transfer of Mastership of 418 Lodge (Sacramento, CA) from Sr. Phyllis Seckler to Br. David Shoemaker effective April 18th, 2004 e.v.
